At-a-glance fitment comparison

The table is filtered to researched tyre sizes: 205/65 R16, 215/55 R17, 215/50 R18, 225/40 R19. Compare the listed size against the current tyre sidewall first, then check load/speed rating, season and run-flat notes. Products outside those researched sizes are deliberately excluded from this vehicle shortlist.

What the fitment research says for 2024 Ford Puma

The researched tyre sizes for this 2024 Ford Puma guide are 205/65 R16, 215/55 R17, 215/50 R18 and 225/40 R19. That gives shoppers a clear starting point, but it does not mean every trim uses the same tyre. Trim, wheel option, market and even previous wheel changes can alter the correct size, so the current tyre sidewall or vehicle placard should be the final check before ordering. This shortlist only includes exact-size matches, which keeps the comparison focused on tyres that already line up with the researched sizes rather than near sizes or guesswork.

How to compare the shortlist once fitment is confirmed

Once the size is confirmed, the real trade-offs are price, brand familiarity, stock and delivery rather than a headline winner. The visible product-level prices run from £99.66 for the HANKOOK Ventus Prime 3 K125 215/55 R17 94V Summer to £136.89 for the Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 215/55 R17 94V Summer, so there is a meaningful spread even within the same 215/55 R17 size. Some live retailer details were unavailable during checking, and there are no visible review scores for these items, so it is smarter to compare what the retailer currently shows on stock, delivery cost and the exact tyre label before buying.

How to choose a 2024 Ford Puma tyre in the right order

Start with the tyre sidewall on the car, or check the vehicle placard if the sidewall is worn or unclear, because the model year alone is not enough to confirm the right size. Then match the load index and speed rating on the car’s label with the tyre you are considering, rather than relying only on the online listing. If the car currently uses run-flat tyres, check that compatibility before ordering. After those fitment checks, compare season and price: every tyre on this page is a summer tyre, including the HANKOOK Ventus Prime 3 K125 215/55 R17 94V Summer, the HANKOOK Ventus Prime 4 K135 215/55 R17 94W Summer and the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 215/55 R17 94W Summer.

Why the same Ford Puma can need different tyre sizes

The 2024 Ford Puma appears with more than one tyre size because wheel size and trim can change the fitment. That is why the page groups the vehicle around researched sizes such as 205/65 R16, 215/55 R17, 215/50 R18 and 225/40 R19, instead of treating the badge on the boot as enough information. If your current sidewall does not match one of those sizes, or if the placard shows a different combination, pause and confirm with a tyre fitter before ordering.

What the limited review evidence means here

There are no visible review counts or star ratings for the shortlisted Tyres.net products, and some retailer page details could not be read at check time. That means this page should be used as a cautious shortlist for exact-size matching rather than a definitive ranking of performance. For shoppers, the practical approach is to verify the current retailer page for each tyre, then compare the exact size, season, price, stock and delivery terms before deciding.

Season choice for this shortlist

All five shortlisted products are summer tyres, including the Continental EcoContact 6 215/55 R17 94V Summer, HANKOOK Ventus Prime 3 K125 215/55 R17 94V Summer and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 215/55 R17 94W Summer. That makes the shortlist a straightforward starting point for drivers who mainly want a warm-weather touring option for commuting or motorway use. If you need a different season choice, compare elsewhere rather than forcing a summer tyre into a use case it was not chosen for here.

Value, availability and what to verify before checkout

Value only makes sense after the fitment checks are done, because the cheapest tyre is not good value if the size, load index or speed rating is wrong. The shortlist price spread runs from £99.66 to £136.89 at product level, while the wider compared offers stretch from £99.66 to £217.64, so it pays to check whether the product page currently shows stock, delivery charges and fitting costs. Compare the HANKOOK and Continental options in the same 215/55 R17 size first, then choose the one whose current price and availability suit your budget and timing.

Buying questions

Can a 2024 Ford Puma have different tyre sizes?

Yes. The correct size can vary by trim, wheel option, market and any previous wheel changes, so a 2024 Ford Puma is not locked to one tyre size. Check the current sidewall or vehicle placard and compare it with the researched sizes on this page before ordering.

Where should I check the exact tyre size on my car?

Check the tyre sidewall first, then confirm it against the vehicle placard if needed. The sidewall tells you the current width, profile and rim size, while the placard helps confirm the vehicle’s required specification before you compare offers.

Do I need to check load index and speed rating as well as size?

Yes. The supplied vehicle guidance says tyre pressure and load/speed rating should follow the vehicle label, not just the online listing. Match the rating on your car’s label with the tyre you are considering, and only then compare price, stock and delivery.

Why does this page only compare exact size matches?

Because exact sidewall matching is the safest way to narrow a 2024 Ford Puma shortlist. The researched fitment possibilities are 205/65 R16, 215/55 R17, 215/50 R18 and 225/40 R19, and the comparison is limited to products that match one of those sizes exactly rather than near sizes or alternatives.

What if my Ford Puma currently has run-flat tyres?

Check the tyre sidewall and the vehicle placard before ordering, then confirm whether your current set-up uses run-flat tyres. If it does, make sure the tyre you buy is suitable for that set-up before you complete the purchase, because compatibility should not be assumed from size alone.
